China's DRAM industry reached an important milestone in July 2026 when ChangXin Memory Technologies (CXMT) began trading on the Shanghai Stock Exchange STAR Market under stock code 688825.

For the server hardware market, however, the bigger story is not the IPO itself. It is CXMT's progress in DDR5 and its growing presence in enterprise server memory.

The CXMT CXMR4E464R8AS-CB1C, a 64GB DDR5-5600 RDIMM, is a good example of that progress. As AI servers consume more memory and global DRAM supply remains tight, products like this are attracting more attention from server builders, distributors and data-center buyers.
